Indian Buffalo racer Srinivas Gowda has broken Usain Bolt world record

28 years old Indian Buffalo racer Srinivas Gowda has finished 142m Paddy fields with buffalo in 13.42 sec( 10.58m/sec) in Kambala sport, a famous sport of Karnataka.  At this speed, he may cover 100m distance in 9.55 seconds which will be .03 seconds lesser than Jamaican former sprinter Usain Bolt who has a world record of 9.58 seconds.

After getting the news, Hon’able Sports Minister Sh Kiren Rijiju had tweeted on twitter that he would be called to SAI Bangalore for checking his performance so that no talent will be left untested. Accordingly, his ticket was booked and will be at SAI Bangalore on 17 Feb 2020 (Monday) where he will be assessed by  SAI coaches.

 Srninwas Gowda is a Constructor worker from Karnataka who has been taking part in Kambala for the last 7 years.
