Madhya Pradesh launched India’s first esports academy, offering training and infrastructure for aspiring gamers to excel in competitive gaming.

The Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Department has recognized the immense potential and popularity of esports in India. Paving the initial steps towards functioning this eSports Academy in MP, a talent search for the students conducted through an MP State Junior Esports Championship from 23 July to 7 August 2023 . Here gaming geeks of 12 to 17-year-olds were eligible to participate in the tournament, which was live for 10 days.
Focus on Various Esports Game
The academy will focus on a wide range of esports titles, including popular games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Dota 2, League of Legends, and more. Students will receive comprehensive coaching in various aspects of competitive gaming, including strategy, teamwork, communication, and mental agility.
