India’s Shooter Sift Kaur Samra puts up an impressive performance in the 50-meter Rifle 3 Positions Individual event and takes home the prestigious GOLD with a World Record at Asian Games 2022.
The 22-year-old shooter was asked to repeat her first-year MBBS as she could not appear for her exams due to the shooting, but she put up an interesting dramatic performance in the women’s 3 positions 50 meters rifle event. She broke a new world record by scoring 469.6 points at the Fuyang Yinhu Sports Centre.
She also set a new Asian Games record and an Asian record by winning the championship in one of the toughest shooting competitions, which measures a shooter’s kneeling, stretching and standing skills.
