Sports Minister of India Kiren Rijiju has unveiled the new Sports Authority of India logo on 30 Sep 2020 at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi in the presence of Sh. Ravi Mittal; Secretary Sports, Sh. Sandip Pradhan, Director General, Sports Authority of India, Sh. Narinder Batra , President, Indian Olympics Association among others.
The logo has been changed for the first time since the apex sports body’s inception in 1982.
The new logo highlights ‘SAI’ in bold letters with depiction of an athlete’s flight to success in the background.
